Meeting came to order @ 19:15 (7:15 pm for the non military type). Chair/Vice Chair wanted to start late to ensure we had all members in place for the election.

Welcomed Visitors: Ed insisted all guesses to introduce themselves to the club: 1 CJ and 5 TJs...Luan curses something about too many TJs are entering the club and not enough Cjs...Various snitch and jeers between the CJ and TJ owners ensued - nothing serious and the 1st Aid kit was not needed. We also noticed all the planets must have aligned - Chris and Pamela Gahimer showed up to the meeting. For those newbies - Chris G. is one of the founding "fathers" (13 years ago).

Treasurer's Report:
Chairman (Ed) had to take a moment to take off Chairman's duty and pretend to be a Treasurer ~ heupdated the club balance and he had various club's T-shirts for sale, etc...

Ed changed the subject and got the club back on track by talking about the current bank situation, especially the ridiculous bank charge ($16/month) because our balance sometime falls below the minimum. Hence the club is in the process searching a new bank.

Reviewed minutes from previous meeting.

Old Business:
Don't forget that Dues are due. $25 for all members.

The June Meeting is election time for all board members.

Seafood Shanty has closed their doors, so the reason for change of venue. We are looking for a new permanent place, but for now Halls Seafood will be the place.

New members were voted in, welcome to the club:
* John Long (04 TJ) was voted in as a new member. John was almost unanimous just do to all the grief that he gives Jay. We won't comment where the one dissenting vote came from. Welcome to the club.

Of course Jay managed to garner 3 "Shut up Jay" statements for the night.

June Events:
5 June - Mopar Car Show: Ed indicated that Jay was the lead of this event...Jay immediately denies it because at the time Queen Bee was down and had no jeep to lead the event...Nevertheless, at least 6 members showed up, almost everyone won various door prizes and all who showed had a great time. Luan won 2nd of best in stock jeep class.

19 June -Milton Car Wash: Tom (Homegrown) indicated there was extremely small turn out because he failed to call members on the night before and it was on the same weekend as the Spring Fest. No immediate plans for the next car wash until the end of the summer - maybe August.

New Business:
Member's yearly dues - Jay complained. Vice Chair voice the standard Jay's complaints, "SHUT UP JAY!" Nevertheless, Jay insisted that he got the floor because we indicated that club members that have been with the club over 10 years should not have to pay dues. All agreed that Chris no longer have to pay the annual membership dues.

We talked about Grey Rock ride (Alabama) in Sept/Oct time frame. Decisions need to be address as soon as possible because open weekend dates are closing up quickly.

Ed informed us that the club's secretary's (Ron) father passed away recently and couldn't make to the meeting. All agreed to send flowers to the funeral home.

New members were voted in, welcome to the club:
* Tom Wichers (00 TJ) was voted in as a new member. Tom has been coming to the club events for some time and finally got here to be voted in. Yes another TJ is in the club. Welcome to the club.

The club voted the following members as the new acting officers starting next month:
Chairman: Craig Morris
V. Chairman: Dwayne Morris
Treasurer: Ed Stork
Secretary: Ron Seegert

July Events:
July 4 - Chris will lead the 4th of July event @ the quiet side on P-cola Beach.

July 17 - Crestview ride which will be lead by Jay @ the Lowe's parking (next to the Flee Market) lot at 0900 and leaving @ 0930.
