Welcomed Visitors:

Treasurer's Report:
Ed reported that our current bank account was $2,477.26. We still needed to pay Ronald McDonald House their money that we raised last year for them.

Reviewed minutes from previous meeting.

Old Business:
It was good to hear that all the club members were safe and doing well after the storm.

A needy child of one of the members was brought up. They had been going through medical problems and with the storm the needed a little help. The club voted to contribute the funds from one car wash a year to a needy member.

The club voted that the beach volunteer work that White Sands did shuttling homeowners to their properties would be considered an event.

A plaque was discussed for the owner of Gray Rock for all his help and appreation. This will be voted on at the next meeting.

October Events:
October 1st-3rd - The Club camping trip will be at Claud D. Kelly State Park. North of Atmore. Everything will be finalized at the September Meeting. This was cancelled by Hurricane Ivan, lots of damage to the camping grounds. Hopefully next spring.

16th Oct - Club Car Wash at Milton/ Dodge. Tom and Shane to Lead. Good turn out for the car wash. A total of 9 members and 2 visitors showed up to wash cars on another perfect day out. The money went for a needy club members premature grand child. The club raised $662 with Milton/Dodge donating $250. The club received two heartfelt thank you cards for the donation.

New Business:
It was brought up again about the plaque for the owner of Gray Rock ORP for all his hard work. The club voted to authorize $50 for a plaque.

It was also brought up about a plaque for Milton/Dodge for all the great service that they have given to the club this year, with car wash's and assistance. The club voted to authorize $50 for a plaque for them. Ed Stork was going to take the lead on getting the plaques made.

Of course Jay was in royal form tonight getting a much required "Shut Up Jay" 4 times.

Ed informed the club that he still has T-shirts and stickers, though only in limited numbers at the moment. The business that used to do this for the club was sold to Brown Sporting Goods. Ed has talked to the new owners and it's reported that nothing should change. So once they are set up and running we'll be back in business with T-shirts and stickers.

Redneck parade has changed for this year. You now need to register on-line with a fee of $30. You will be given a number and that is where you will be lining up. The club did not agree with this so will not be participating as a group this year.

An annual trip to Gray Rock was discussed at length, and it was decided that we would go with a springtime event, with Fall being a back up time for White Sands. No official date given, that will be determined as we get closer.

Think about where we want to do the club Christmas party. This is a members only.
