Welcomed Visitors:

Treasurer's Report:
Treasurer's Report was reviewed

Reviewed minutes from previous meeting.

Old Business:
Chris Gahimer suggested that we purchase a P.O. Box for the Club again. This has been done in the past, so that all correspondence for the club goes to one location, vice to our individual houses. Motion was approved to purchase a box. Chris will set it up and let us know the address at next meeting.

Nancy Rios discussed that a Panama City club has been coming up to Crestview and wheeling illegally on private property. She has been in contact with the owner of the property and will continue to work on getting this wheeling stopped. Signs are posted at the entrances to the property, but club members have been seen driving past, around, or even cutting new trails (i.e. no sign on that trail) into the area.

Mike Burtt volunteered to host the Club Christmas party at his house this year. So everyone bring your raincoats. Mike hope you like indoor parties.

September Events:
17th August Eglin Ride. The ride went very well, however we only had 4 members and no visitors. It was myself , Tom and Glinda, Shane, Dwayne. It was a good day (not to hot), some clouds and a breeze, the trails were very mild with some creek crossings and many small mud holes, one deep creek at which time we found out that Shane's jeep doesn't like water, and we still don't know why! It just dies when it gets wet but, it starts back up when it's feet get dry.

No broken parts for the day although my front drive shaft sounds as if it is going to fly apart at any minute.

Also we did our civic duty by pulling (what we think to be a stolen) GMC Jimmy out of the deep creek along with the doors, hood, and air ducts. Looks like it had been there for a couple months.

After the ride was over, we stopped at Leisure Time RV to check the Cherokee that Shane talked about at the last meeting and for the most part it ran great (no smoke) and the rest of it looks to be cosmetic repairs needed. It appears to be a good sound project for the club.

24th August Car Wash. This will be a charity carwash for Skyler at Milton Dodge. The car wash raised $245 for Skyler who unfortunately has passed away. Our condolences go out to the family and friends. Skylers parents were at the meeting to tearfully receive the donation. They thanked the club for all of our help.

New Business:
Chris will have the P.O. Box number for us next meeting.

The Club project Cherokee will be going to Chris's shop for the work to be done on it. If you want to participate in the project you are welcome to, but participation is strictly volunteer.

For everyone who remembers Sugar Bear that we did a carwash for and the ride a while back. She has also passed away. Many condolences from the club to her parents and friends.

Gray Rock will be having a Fall Crawl event sometime coming up. Figures I'm missing a date on this one. Dwayne or Mike should have the information, or you can check their website. The tickets should be $65 per vehicle with an additional $5 per passenger.

The club will be doing a Santa ride for the Childrens Home Society before Christmas. Chris was going to contact CHS to find out what gifts would be appropriate. Shane volunteered his Limo to be the Sleigh. Though we are still looking for Santa (but if Shane is Santa, Ed said he'd be the Elf)

October Events:
13th-15th - Club camping trip to Carrot Lake. Chris and Tom to lead. Please contact Tom or Chris to confirm you camping. If you want to just ride come up and join us on Saturday morning. Rolling out of the camp by 10:00 for a couple hours, then back for lunch and out again. Some people may wheel on Friday and Sunday also, but that's to be determined.

Swap and Sell: (Prices subject to change without notice)

Pass the Hat
