Welcomed Visitors:

Treasurer's Report:
Treasurer's Report was reviewed. We are still waiting on a time to get together with Children’s home society to present them the check. Ed also has T-shirts and windshield logo’s if you want any.

Reviewed minutes from previous meeting.

Old Business:
The club voted in Brandon Blanchard. There was an amazing amount of opposed this time. So after tying up the vote we decided to let Brandon decide if he wanted in. This decision was much easier than him deciding to drive through water or not. Congratulations Brandon, welcome to the club.

The club has raised $1200 for Children’s Home Society this year. We will be presenting them a check in January.

We discussed various ideas on how to market / advertise the Cherokee for next years raffle. Everyone is asked to put their ideas down on paper for club review.

The January meeting will decide the charity for the year. Please think about local charities that we would like to support for the year.

January Events:
1st – Jones swamp run/ watch. Mike was the leader of the New Years Ride and he promptly tried to prove that a jeep with Floatation tires (Mike this is really just a designation, not what they really do) can not actually float across a very large (read DEEP!) puddle. We did manage to fish him out, pun intended. Unlike Mike, Shane’s jeep once again proved that it was deathly afraid of water and promptly fainted upon seeing the first water hole. It was a good time out watching people and Mike.

13th – Cherokee work day. The workday was a bust due to cold weather. Everyone just ate some Waffle house and called it a day. However, somebody forgot to tell Ed this.

New Business:
Childrens Home Society was again voted in as the Charity for the year.

Start thinking about things for the 2nd annual White Sands Jeep Club charity car show. We will be doing it a little earlier this year.

Some plaques were presented to Ed, Dwayne, Norm, Glinda, and Tom for all of their hard work last year especially on the car show. We also presented a plaque to Mesquite Charlies for hosting us for an entire year and giving us good service.

A warning for all of you who have mail boxes near the road. The Mailbox Masher was sited driving a Red GMC Envoy near Norms house after his mailbox was destroyed. For some reason the guy driving looked just like ED.. Wait it was Ed. Norm is excepting donation at the Norms Mailbox Fund.

Start thinking about the spring camping trip. Where and when?

First weekend of March there will be a Marsh Mountain run. The weekend is $50. Get in contact with Dwayne for more information.

Quote for the Night:

10th – Blackwater/ Munson ride – We will be meeting in Milton at the Texas Road House at 9:00 rolling out at 9:30. Bring a lunch, we will be eating on the trail.

17th Cherokee work day – Once again we will be meeting at the Waffle house in P-ridge (by walmart) at 8:30. Work day to follow a good breakfast.
