Meeting: 29 April 2008

Welcomed Visitors: The Jeep Club welcomes two visitors at the meeting.

Treasures’ Report:  Ed reports that there is 1140.54 dollars in the bank account.

Old Business:  The Cherokee is ready for the auction.  The club has decided to sell 1000 ten dollars tickets. Contact an club officer for further info.

New Business:

1. The camping trip that was to be held in April has been rescheduled for the end of May. May 29, 30, 31 and June 1 Camping trip to Karick Lake.

Here are the directions and description for getting to the campsite.

Carrick Lake--Karick Lake North ----North of Baker on SR 189 for 7.5 miles. Right on Karick Lake North Road (dirt) for 1.0 mile, then right at intersection for 0.6 mile to ramp. Single-lane ramp with unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 25 vehicles. Bathroom, shower and picnic facilities are available and bank fishing is allowed. Paid camping area.

2.  May 3^rd for the next car wash.  Time to meet 9.30 am at Milton Dodge on Hwy 90 in Milton.
3. Tom brought up that we should registered our jeep club at the 4wd
4. Perry mention about an interesting car show.  Go to the web site www.swamprangers.com for further info.  The show is set for May 10.

Rides for March:

1. May 24 Canoe creek trail ride.  Tom and Perry Co leading the ride.   Go to the    Atmore cutoff at hwy 29 and hwy 97.  Meet at 1000 at the Tom Thumb.

Pass the hat:  20.00

Stuck fund.  George contributed to the stuck fund for the trip to Morris Mountain.
