Old Business:
1. The only thing left to complete on the Cherokee is the seals around the windows.
2. The Church where we are to have the car show is asking that the jeep club play only Christian music and that there is to be no alcohol at the event. Along this lines there show be appropriate clothing worn. Dwayne is head the particulars for this event. Tom Leonard stated that we could bypass this by playing no music at all but that we still need a PA system for announcements. Bathrooms will be porta potty’s and will be our responsibility. Motion passed.
3. Car wash was cancelled due to weather. Another date will be decided upon later to hold a car wash
4. Canoe creek ride—Perry O. A good time was held by all with hot weather. Some vehicles were broken. Emerald coast Jeep club was also there with some of it’s members do some “real” jeeping and showing off.

New Business:
1. Flyers and Tickets were passed out tonight at the monthly meeting for the Cherokee raffle. Ed Stork is handling the ticket distribution with all tickets being numbered. If you need any tickets please call Ed at 910-3653.
2. All members dues are due this month. Please send checks or MO to Ed Stork, 8813 Concord Court, Navarre, Fl 32566. Dues are 25.00 per year.
3. A small attendance was seen at this meeting. It is time to nominate new officers for our club and a motion passed to postpone this for next meeting.
4. Norm Kessler brought some car show flyers for the club to review. He also brought up the need for trophies. Most trophies are 18-20 bucks. Tom Leonard also mentioned he could get them for a good price. The club discussed the divisions of the car entry. A good idea about the door prizes was to have a separate box for each door prize. Along with this there will be a 50/50 pot. The club needs to get everything for the car show ready to go a month or so in advance. Perry O mention that Buffalo rock could donate sodas. Perry O also mention about having a radio sponsor at the event.
5. Divisions for the car awards during the car show are people’s choice, best in show, different car divisions, different truck divisions, most ugly, PT Cruisers, mustangs, motorcycles, and etc.
6. The show will also have a swap and sell for the participants. The participants need to be registered to prevent folks driving in with their trailers and then leaving in a hour or so.
